Lichiana Amigo, Instructor Fee: $10 Monday (No class February 21) 10:30 – 12:00pm Exercise is an essential part of managing your Arthritis. Exercise reduces joint pain and stiffness, builds strong muscle around the joints, and increases flexibility and endurance. It reduces inflammation and the risk of other chronic conditions as well. This class is designed specifically for people with arthritis and uses gentle activities to help increase joint flexibility and range of motion with the practical application to improving your daily activities.

This full-body low-impact workout contains no demands, yet offers constant movement and motivation. Water aerobics uses all the major muscle groups, yet there is no strain on joints since all movements are under water. Improve stretching, balance, strength and coordination. This class will cover things like how to open mail, send pictures, search, security issues, downloading, plus how to manage some of the junk that ends up on your computer. Learn about basic maintenance as well as when to call in a professional. This class addresses current real issues you have about using your computer. Bring your questions and use your computer optimally! This class is for retirees who have some idea how to use their computers. (Class participants should own a computer, have it out of the box and hooked up to internet already). |
