The Committee on Arts, Events & Entertainment meet the first Tuesday of each month to plan various events that are both educational and entertaining.
The Committee was established in 2003 as a way to develop events that promote the Arts and Entertainment for CWA Local 1180 members. The Committee currently has fifteen members and continues to grow.
The Committee is known for hosting such events as the “Kid’s Open Mic”, “Family Day Event”, “Youth ‘n’ Union” workshop”, and most recently, “Committee Bowl”.
We encourage members to join the Committee for the following reasons; Display of Leadership, Promote Unity among members, Strengthens the Union, Building Mobilization, Creating platforms for free speech and expression and to give of your time, effort and commitment is just self-rewarding.
